Lakeside Slow Flow: Simple, Mindful Movement

If your daily routine has left you feeling tight, stressed, or just stuck in your own head, this class is a chance to press the reset button.

This is a straightforward, non-pretentious yoga session designed for everybody. You don’t need to be flexible, you don’t need to know any special language, and you don’t need to have prior experience. We are here simply to move the body, quiet the noise, and enjoy the stillness of our lakeside sanctuary.

The 60-Minute Blueprint

The Grounding (5 Mins): We start exactly where you are. A simple breathing exercise to help you leave the day behind and find your center.

The Warm-Up (10 Mins): Gentle stretching to loosen up the joints, release the neck and shoulders, and get the body moving with ease.

The Flow (25 Mins): We will build a little bit of internal heat with steady, rhythmic movement. This stage is about building basic strength and coordination without overcomplicating things.

The Balance (5 Mins): A brief focus on a foundational balance pose to sharpen your attention and stabilize your stance.

The Cool Down (10 Mins): Slowing the heart rate down with restorative stretches that target the lower back and hips.

Savasana (5 Mins): Total stillness. A final, quiet rest at the edge of the lake to let the benefits of the movement settle in.

What to Expect

A welcoming, down-to-earth environment. Think of this as operational maintenance for your mind and body. You will leave feeling lighter, clear-headed, and ready to step back into your week with a solid foundation.

Location: Third Eye Space Yoga and Sound Sanctuary (Rowlett, TX)

What to Bring: Your own yoga mat and gear or we have mats, blocks, straps, bolsters, and blankets available.

Skill Level: Absolute beginner to intermediate. Everyone works at their own pace.
