Frequently asked questions

Yoga is an ancient practice focused on bringing the mind and body in harmony through mindful behavior, physical movement, and breath awareness. The practice of yoga has been broken down into eight limbs or paths to explore. Physical movement of the body, also called Asanas, and breathwork, also refered to as Pranayama, are only two of the eight limbs of yoga. Yoga practice can enhance all spiritual faiths and bring a feeling of connection with nature, our surroundings, and our fellow humans being. Join us for a session to learnm more.

Sound healing is an ancient wellness practice for healing, relaxation, and self-care. A sound healing session can occur as part of a yoga session or as a meditative session with little of no movement. During a sound session crystal and metal singing bowls will be used as well as other instruments to promote feelings of relaxation and calm. Sound healing works by activating the parasympathetic nervous system - the opposite of the stress fight or flight response. Sound therapy can help slow breathing, regulate heart rate, and even calm our busy brains. The sound frequencies can simulate Alpha, beta, and theta brain waves similar to sleeping patterns. Sound sessions have shown to help with anxiety, fatigue, depression, and many other challenges. Join us for a sound session to learn more.

Third Eye Mind is located in Rowlett, Texas on Lake Ray Hubbard sharing a parking lot with Rowlett Paddle Point Park. Our Studio entrance is in the rear of the Kayak Crossing Outpost on the second floor. There are steps leading up to the studio with handrails on both sides and a landing midway up. Upon entering feel free to take a look at our crystal chest and choose a crystal that seems of interest for your session. We hold sessions inside as well as on the patio deck. You may bring your own mat if you have one or use a mat from our collection. We also have blocks, straps, blankets, and bolsters to assist in making your session as comfortable as possible. Most sessions last between 60-90 mins. The main studio entrance will be locked 5 minutes after the start of class. We understand that schedules can get busy and traffic can be unpredictable. Please make every effort to arrive early to the session and do drive safely.
